The Spring Term is well under way and children are busily working hard towards their End of KS2 SATs Tests in May

Our history topic this term in The Stone Age, with many opportunities to take part in art - sketching, painting, observational and scaled drawing, research, Design Technology and much more.
Our English this term is based around the books/ DVD,s - The Hobbit,The Dragon Slayer, Stig of the Dump, The Stone Age Sentinel and anthologies linked to dragons.
The above books are all readily available at libraries and bookshops, should you wish to read along with your children.
Maths is taught daily with the aid of the Collins Busy Ant Maths Scheme.
Multiplication tables are taught daily and we would appreciate your help with practising them at home.
Homework is given weekly. This consists of:
Reading at home at least three times a week
Maths homework weekly. Given out on Friday and to be handed in by the following Friday.
Spelling activities weekly. Given out on Friday and to be handed in by the following Friday.

We have two sessions of PE weekly - Monday and Thursday/Friday - please ensure that the correct PE kit is in school for those days
