Every week, groups of children spend the afternoon exploring the outdoors as part of our Forest School Programme. What is Forest School? It's long-term; it has high staffing ratios working with small groups of children; it takes place in the outdoors; it is lead by a qualified level 3 Forest School Leaders, who works together with at least one other adult; it takes place on a weekly basis with the same learners attending the whole process; and it involves an understanding of how children learn and supports them to build confidence, resilience, independence and creativity.
